Privacy policy
This is a static site. No accounts, no logins, no comments, no forms, and nothing is ever sold or paid for here, so there is very little to collect in the first place.
What we collect
Google Analytics 4, once it is switched on, records aggregate visit data: which pages were viewed, roughly which part of the world the visit came from, what kind of device, and which ticket links were clicked. That last one is the only measurement that matters to us, because it tells us whether a comparison actually helped somebody choose a ticket. We store no names, no passport details and no payment details, because we never ask for them and have nothing to charge you for.
If you email us, we hold that email in an ordinary mailbox for as long as it takes to answer you and to keep a record of any correction it prompted. Your address is not added to a list, because there is no list, and it goes nowhere else.
Cookies and embedded content
Google Analytics sets its own cookies. When you click through to a ticket listing, the booking platform (or the London Eye's official site, if that's the link you used) sets its own cookie so a booking can be credited back to this site. Those cookies belong to the platform and fall under its own privacy policy rather than this one. The disclosure page names which platforms are involved and explains the arrangement.
What we do not do
- Sell or share data with anyone.
- Run advertising networks, retargeting pixels or third-party ad cookies.
- Ask for or store an email address for marketing. There is no newsletter and no account.
- Take payments or hold ticket availability. Everything financial happens on the booking platform's or the official site's own systems, never here.
- Host a contact form. The contact page is a plain mailto link, so an email to us travels through your own mail provider and nowhere else.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and abuse prevention. We do not query those logs to identify visitors.
Your choices
Browser-level tracking protection, an ad blocker or a Do Not Track setting will each stop the analytics script, and nothing here breaks when they do. Every page works with JavaScript disabled apart from the mobile menu. If you would rather leave no tracking cookie behind at all, the disclosure page explains how to reach the booking platform or the official site directly.
Questions: email us. See also the disclosure page.
